Vaillant ecoTEC Pro noisy pump F75 fault code
This is a short clip of a first generation(2005 – 2011) Vaillant ecoTEC Pro Combination boiler with a noisy pump and the inevitable F75 fault code.
The F75 fault code on a Vaillant ecoTEC boiler means that the printed circuit board did not detect the pump running sufficiently for the boiler to work safely and has shut down as a precaution.
The F75 fault code could be caused by several things but most of the time its a failed pump or faulty pressure sensor.
Other possible causes can be a faulty printed circuit board or wiring harness.
Early first generation ecoTEC boilers did have issues with premature pump failure as it was a common problem.
If your Vaillant boiler has a noisy pump do not assume it will continue to work, as it probably will fail at some point.
If your boiler is making a lot of noise then it is probably worth getting your boiler looked at by a heating industry professional at your earliest convenience.
